Men On Fire’s mission is to develop strong and faithful Christian men. Men On Fire ministry meets once a month with a variety of fellowship events and/or subjects being taught. This ministry is designed to help men find their God ordained purpose.

The PHCOD Youth department’s mission is to provide a safe, loving and structured learning environment, an environment that is conducive to the Word of God.

Seasoned Saints ministry adheres to the needs of PHCOD elderly congregants. This ministry focuses on the limited social status amongst our “senior saints”. PHCOD institutes in-home bible studies which rotates amongst the homes of the elderly.

The PHCOD music ministry is geared toward high praise and worship. It is a ministry that sets the atmosphere for the presence of God to come in and renew, restore, revive and refresh the spirit of the believer. The worship will pull down strongholds and destroy the tactics of the enemy.

The Administrative Ministry was put in place to assure that the business of PHCOD is consistent and all other areas meet IRS and/or governmental requirements, guidelines and standards.

Pleasant hill Productions oversees live production in audio, lighting and video for worship services. Technical production include remote events that require setup and operation of AV systems on and off the campus of the church.

The mission of the Events Team is to plan events at the church that are professionally organized and that give glory to God. At Pleasant Hill Church, we strive for excellence in all we do and the Events Team administers each event with excellence and shows the love of God to our guests and members through the event.

The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to “reach the lost at any cost”. The PHCOD Outreach Team currently devotes consistent quality service to several women and men shelters. Their goal is to help those who have been battered, neglected, and abused.

The PHCOD Christian Education Department bases its foundation on 2nd Timothy 2:15: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (NIV) The bible gives clear instruction on studying the word of God. PHCOD has devoted teachers and ministers whom God has ordained too impart and deposit the word of God into the life of the believer. All new converts and new members are encouraged to go through the “Search for Truth” series which is a prerequisite required before working on any PHCOD auxiliary. Once the series has been completed, one can remain consistent by continuing in a variety of informative classes. Classes are taught every Sunday morning prior to Sunday worship. Classes are available for young and old believers.

The Dance Ministry is a group of believers that move rhythmically in dance to exalt, praise and promote the Word of the Most High God. It is a ministry whose purpose is to uplift your soul and draw you into the presence of God, a place where yokes are broken, burdens are lifted and one is positioned to get a true breakthrough from God.

The Drama ministry performs plays, sketches, comedies, mime and other ways of expression, using the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is to visit and give God’s love, encouragement, and prayer to people who are in need of physical and spiritual healing. To aid the family and friends of those we are visiting in any way needed through prayer, food, or emotional support.
