Men On Fire’s mission is to develop strong and faithful Christian men. Men On Fire ministry meets once a month with a variety of fellowship events and/or subjects being taught. This ministry is designed to help men find their God ordained purpose.
The PHCOD Christian Education Department bases its foundation on 2nd Timothy 2:15: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (NIV) The bible gives clear instruction on studying the word of God. PHCOD has devoted teachers and ministers whom God has ordained too impart and deposit the word of God into the life of the believer. All new converts and new members are encouraged to go through the “Search for Truth” series which is a prerequisite required before working on any PHCOD auxiliary. Once the series has been completed, one can remain consistent by continuing in a variety of informative classes. Classes are taught every Sunday morning prior to Sunday worship. Classes are available for young and old believers.
In November of 2023 Pastor Gene and Lady Gail celebrated forty years of marriage. They both love marriage and have mentored and spiritually advised numerous couples both locally as well as in various other states. The Hill’s church family has those who have been married for ten to fifty-eight years. The union of marriage is important and the Johnsons make themselves available to help others to have a successful marital union.
The Dance Ministry is a group of believers that move rhythmically in dance to exalt, praise and promote the Word of the Most High God. It is a ministry whose purpose is to uplift your soul and draw you into the presence of God, a place where yokes are broken, burdens are lifted and one is positioned to get a true breakthrough from God.
